Act!ion for Haiti
A 6 week series of ACT! Training Sessions delivered by Certified ACT! Consultants - all proceeds from the webinar series will be donated to the American Red Cross for their Haiti relief & recovery efforts.



Would you like to make a difference for the survivors of the Haiti earthquake? We've joined with several collegues in donating our time and skills to deliver a webinar series: Take ACT!tion for Haiti - Classes for a Cause. Our goal is to raise $15,000 for the Haiti Relief Fund of the Red Cross. If you can join us you'll learn essential tips for using ACT!, as well as sales & marketing skills. The fees you'll pay for this training will help to provide food, shelter and medical care for a nation in dire need.

Our series is based around "A Day in the Life of Walter Beegle". he is an experienced and successful sales person but he's definitely doing things the hard way. By taking advantage of ACT! 2010's powerful sales & marketing functionality, we will show how Walter can eliminate unproductive hours, become much more effective and close more sales, faster.

Session Descriptions:
 
Session 1 - Introduction & Calendar Management (Thursday, February 18 2:00-2:45 pm Eastern)
Get a handle on the theme for our series by attending the introduction session in which you’ll get familiar with the story of Walter, a successful salesperson who works much harder than he needs to and learn how what you’ll take away from the series will help you save time and work more effectively.

The ACT! calendar, along with the Task List, sits right at the center of the ACT! control center. When set up and used properly, it brings control and composure to your busy life. During this session, we'll show you how to setup your calendar so that it works the way you want it to, based on your personal preferences.

Session 2 - Outlook Integration for E-mail and Scheduling (Thursday, February 25 2:00-2:45 pm Eastern)
Email is a major channel of communication with your customers and prospects.  Learn how to make Outlook and ACT! work together to improve your relationships.  In this session, we'll show you how to record those important emails into ACT!’s history for future reference, create a new ACT! contact or schedule a new ACT! meeting from an incoming message.  You’ll see how to send and accept universal meeting invitations with a simple click and send contact information electronically using vCards. 

Session 3 - Web Info Tab and Social Media with ACT! (Thursday, March 4 2:00-2:45 pm Eastern)
Learn how the Web Info Tab feature in ACT! 2010 can help you find information about your contacts using the Internet in a flash. Driving directions and maps, Social media profiles on sites like LinkedIn and Facebook, Google searches, weather, and more! We’ll also be talking about what you’re missing out on if you’re not already using Social Media tools.

Session 4 - ACT! & E-mail Marketing (Thursday, March 11 2:00-2:45 pm Eastern)
ACT! E-marketing (powered by Swiftpage) is a subscription-based e-mail marketing service that allows you to capture leads with web forms on your website, send graphical e-mails to your customers & prospects and track the results with reports that highlight the contacts that showed the most interest in your e-mail

Session 5 - Reporting & Dashboards (Thursday, March 18 2:00-2:45 pm Eastern)
Learn to use dashboards to create an effective "snapshot" of your day. Discover the power of the Sales Opportunity list to manage your sales pipeline. Capture business intelligence about why sales are won or lost and uncover which competitors consistently eat your lunch.  Dazzle your manager with pivot charts & tables you can create with a single mouse click.

Session 6 - Summary Session - Extending ACT! (Thursday, March 25 2:00-2:45 pm Eastern)
You’ve embraced CRM and mastered the basics – and you want even more functionality.  Our Summary Session will introduce you to powerful Add-ons which allow:
   - Creation of additional tables (track investments, projects and more)
   - Sync of Contacts & Calendar to a Handheld
   - Autodial/VoIP with ACT!
   - Advanced Dashboards & Reports
   - Advanced Quotes

We've priced the series at a level that we think is an incredible value for the content, and we invite you to consider the great need for funds and register at the highest level you can.

Your registration allows you to attend all six webinars, but if you join the series late or have to miss a session, each registrant will also receive a DVD recording of the series.

We can't offer a tax receipt since we're not registered as a non-profit charity, but we can promise you that each presenter is donating 100% of his/her time and every penny of your contribution, after the cost of the DVD and credit card charges, will be donated to the American Red Cross, and we'll notify everyone who registers what the final amount is that we raise for this important cause.
